The Granary

The Granary stands separate, accessible from the lane through the farm. It is  weatherboarded pine clad, built on the old flint walls of an old  cart lodge. There are good views down the valley from the large living room window. The interior has been altered as little as possible. The original floor worn with two centuries of corn storage has mellowed to a rich  honey colour. Into this has been added an efficient modern bathroom and kitchen - all fully insulated. There is an attractive glass fronted log and coal burning stove which warms the building in winter. There are  also  night storage heaters. In the two small bedrooms there are generous cupboards, one room has a double bed, the other has full width bunk beds. The living room contains a large double sofa-bed if required.  Inside, the  pine clad walls and antique pine furniture give a very rustic yet cosy ambience. A colour TV is provided.

The Old Barn   Sleeps 6 - 7 + Cot

This is a spacious first floor property with large south facing windows overlooking the courtyard and  lily  pond. It is beautifully renovated and furnished most comfortably with original pine doors and shutters. (See top left of picturebelow). It contains 2 double bedrooms, a twin room, a large living room, a fourth small  bedroom/study/dressing room as well as separate kitchen, bathroom with bath, shower, WC, and a second separate WC. The kitchen equipment includes dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave' large fridge/freezer and ample work  surfaces.  The bedrooms are normally configured as 2 double and 1 twin, with the fourth small bedroom left as a study/dressing room without bed, although double beds for the twin rooms can be supplied as can a single bed be  supplied in the  study. There is a large glass-fronted multi-fuel stove in the living room. This Property now contains full oil-fired central heating throughout included in the price. Large 20" TV and music centre  provided.

 Barn Annexe  Sleeps 4 - 5 + Cot

This property has now been refurbished and improved. It now contains an additional double/family room containing a double and single bed together with an additional en-suite shower room and toilet. Adjacent to the Old Barn, an ideal country base for 4 (or 5 with the extra bed in the main bedroom) Pretty L-shaped studio room with sitting area and colour TV. Bunk beds in little room off living room. Small  white all-electric  fitted kitchen. Bathroom and separate WC. Nice view through large living room window to fields and woodland. This Property now contains full oil-fired central heating throughout included in the price. (Situated top right in picture on  index page).

Finally, We do now also have a 33 ft Mobile Home on the farm. Sleeping 4 in two rooms (double room and bunk room). It contains electric and gas heating, fully-fitted kitchenette, living room area with TV and HiFi, shower room with toilet. Hot water via gas boiler. Own patio and garden area. Pretty location overlooking fields and woodland above.
